Summer is there. Time to drive around and hunt in the flea markets for great finds.
Tony Murland's auction will be held around Ipswich on Aug 3rd, offering for sale some fantastic tools. We'll be there. Alex who is getting better and better at it shot all the pics for Tony's catalogue.

The Next event we will attend will be the french tool fair in Saint Nectaire, held on august the 20th & 21st, in a great location in central France.

A french tool auction is in preparation as well and will be held in the Casino Hall in St Nectaire on Nov 5th, the sale will be on the web and catalogued as well.Tools are still wanted as well. Email thierry@classictools.com for details.

And a fantastic tool as usual: This is the most incredible anvil we have ever seen, its face decorated in foliate designs. It dates back to the late sixteenth or early seventeenth century. Its long and narrow top lets us attribute it to swordmaking.
