Hi there!

One more year amost gone, this is time to thank you all for your feedback and support through our venture in the Tool World.

By mid January we will attend a tool fair on the south coast of France, and we have quite a few people willing to sell tools to visit. Plenty of new items should show up on sale , so keep an eye out.
As you know from my former newsletters, as a woodworker and tool freak I have interest on how things were made in past days, and especially on treen.
This is the winter treen picture: a genuine swiss recue dog barrel -unfortunately empty - with a great age patina. It is made of a single hollowed piece of wood. It was boiled to plasticize and then top and bottom were then pushed into the crozed grooves. Once dried again such a piece of work was completely tight.

Happy Xmas to all of you, and if you have been good enough, Santa should bring you some nice tools.
